A lot of cool animation stuff can be done in css these days, and a few people have written some incredibly useful guides for us!
CSS transitions and transforms for beginners goes through the whole list and shows great examples for each feature, as well as giving you access to the source html and css through codepen. (note: if you see “SCSS” in the header, click on “view compiled” to see the CSS)
CSS-tricks helps us again with their guide to transitions. It’s a little bit older (2011), but still useful!
And of course, good ol’ W3Schools helps us understand transitions in their familiar layout. It’s like going home again!
But not everything can be animated and transformed, which is why W3c made a list of animatable properties.
