A good complement to the css-tricks flex page mentioned before, the ultimate flexbox cheat sheet separates the different concepts of flex into individual, bite-size snippets. Then there’s a visual guide to css3 flexbox properties, which shows useful visuals (a bit down the page) to explain the different properties.

We’re not talking too much about flexboxes in class, because they’re not completely supported yet, but if you’re curious and want to try playing with them, you can check out Learn CSS Layout‘s flexbox entry, css-tricks‘ take on the subject, or MDN‘s very in-depth explanation. Looks promising!
